Make a donation to Critter.Net
|
While Critter.Net provides low-cost webhosting, email and a
smattering of free services (such as news), it is not cheap to run.
In fact, it costs $80 each month for the connection to the Internet
alone. That doesn't include the cost of maintaining the hardware,
either. So far, close to $3500 has been spent on keeping the machine
upgraded and connected for people to use. Before January 2003, I was
paying $225 a month for over a year just to keep the box on the
Internet.
This, of course, is a large out of pocket expense, and any
donations to help keep the service running would be greatly
appreciated. We'd like to ask people that both use Critter.Net and
enjoy the services that we provide to donate a small amount to help
keep things running. The more donations that we get, the more
bandwidth we can buy to make things faster for people.
