Critter.Net services

The following services are provided:

Subscription Services

A Critter.net account costs just $2.50 per month ($30 per year) and gives you a space for putting your website up (as whatever.critter.net). This price includes space up to 1GB, and then it's an additional $1/GB or part thereof. You get a site where there's no banner ads, no weird pop-up windows, just whatever you put there. If you want to put some kind of gallery software on there too, that's fine. Some kind of forum pages? Well, that's fine too. Need something that requires a database such as MySQL or PostgreSQL? All included.

If you want also, at no charge you get an email address (yourname@critter.net), which you can access through either a webmail system, or through whatever mail program you have on your home computer.

If you have your own domain (www.something.com) and want to host it on the server, that can also be arranged. Or if you don't have your own domain yet but want one, for an extra $10.50 per year (the current cost of domain registration through GoDaddy.Com, the domain can be purchased for you with no setup needed on your part.

Need something else that I haven't mentioned? All you have to do is ask - there's a good chance it might be something I can provide for you easily, or is already there.

• NNTP news access to the various anthropomorphic newsgroups. alt.fan.furry, alt.lifestyle.furry, the fur.* groups. Available at news.critter.net.
• DNS hosting as either a primary nameserver, secondary or both through two nameservers in different geographic and network locations.
